Great Upcoming Concerts for 2006

Vendredi 29 février 2008

There are some great upcoming events for music lovers in 2006.
The 2005 Grammy award winner John Mayer is touring during the early part of the year. This is definitely not one to miss. John Mayer s career really took off in 1999-2000. Working out of Atlanta, he produced his first solo album, Inside Wants Out , in 1999. Mayer became a regular draw in the Atlanta club circuit. Then, an appearance in March of 2000 at the South by Southwest Music Festival equated to a recording contract with a subsidiary of Columbia Records. He recorded his major label debut, Room for Squares , with producer John Alagia, who had previously worked with artists like Dave Matthews and Ben Folds Five. Room for Squares featured electric funky hooks and Mayer s versatile, smooth voice, which bore a striking resemblance to the stylistic sound of Dave Matthews.

Upcoming John Mayer Events:

01/30/06 On ABC @ 9:00pm, In Style TV Show - Chicago, IL
02/09/06 Tonight Show with Jay Leno - Los Angeles, CA
02/13/06 Adelaide Entertainment Centre - Adelaide Australia

Speaking of Dave Mathews, the great South African vocalist/guitarist of the Dave Matthews Band is doing something unusual and interesting. It begins in Florida on Friday February 3, 2006 as Sovereign of the Seas sails from Port Canaveral while, simultaneously, Majesty of the Seas sails from Miami, each ship carrying fans and Artists on a weekend musical fantasy trip to the Bahamas. Dramatically, in the Atlantic, these two sister ships will converge and sail side by side, an event of rare occurrence in cruising history. Artists scheduled to perform during the cruise include Dave Matthews & Friends, Bob Weir & Ratdog, G. Love & Special Sauce, Toots & the Maytals, Ozomatli, North Mississippi Allstars. Mike Doughty s Band, Soulive, Mofro, Michael Tolcher. ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra), DJ Logic, Motion Potion, John Brown s Body, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and Brett Dennen. The Dave Mathews Band was formed in Virginia in the early 90s. Featuring Matthews, Stefan Lessard, !
Leroi Moore, Boyd Tinsley, and Carter Beauford. They built up a strong word-of-mouth following in the early 90s by touring the country relentlessly, concentrating on college campuses. Rumor has it that the Band is planning a summer tour for 2006. As for the dates and locations, keep your eyes peeled.

Out of all the former Beatles, Paul McCartney by far had the most successful solo career, maintaining a persistent presence in the British and American charts during the 70s and 80s. In America alone, he created nine number one singles and seven number one albums during the first 12 years of his solo career. Although he sold records, and is wildly popular, McCartney never attained much respect from the critics, especially when compared to his former partner John Lennon. This changed entirely with his release of Flaming Pie in 1997. One momentous live performance given by McCartney was “Good Day Sunshine” performed for the international space station crew. NASA astronaut Bill McArthur and Russian cosmonaut Valery Tokarev were treated to a live wake-up call of the Beatles classic in a first-ever concert linkup to the space station. Currently, Paul McCartney is not touring.

Coldplay is a band destined to be hailed as one of the most creatively sparse and emotionally artistic to come around in quite some time. The London-based quartet can comfortably go from stunning stadium anthems to slow-burning churns and do it with a flair like no other.

Rob Thomas is just wrapping up his first solo tour. The former singer and main songwriter for Matchbox Twenty, a Florida based alternative group that found success with a blend of 70s rock influences and 1990s grunge crunch. The band broke into major success in 1996 with “Push”. They were then off and running. The album Yourself or Someone Like You went platinum a dozen times over in the U.S. Ultimately, a song he co-wrote for the Carlos Santana album Supernatural. “Smooth” launched Thomas to stardom. The track collected three Grammys including Song of the Year, and Thomas was selected to People s Magazine “Most Beautiful People” list. Thomas has only two stops left on his current tour:

2/13/06 Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
2/14/06 Melbourne Park - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne

The Rolling Stones are on the Worldwide circuit again. Besides the appearance at this years Superbowl, the World s Greatest Rock & Roll Band has an extensive whirlwind tour in progress. 8 Mile (DVD) Review

Vendredi 22 février 2008

Undoubtedly, the surprise film of 2002 was 8 Mile, the story about a young white rapper in Detroit who struggles with his broken family, gold-digging friends, and simply to find his identity in the nefarious world in which he lives. Starring the best-selling rap artist Eminem, 8 Mile is supposedly autobiographical in nature, portraying the true life rise of Marshall Mathers from the hardened streets of Detroit to the gold paved highways of superstardom. But the film begins and ends in the ghetto, cataloguing the time prior to the rapper s success. As a movie, it performs its duties well - virtually transporting the viewer to the crime and poverty riddled neighborhoods of one of America s most dangerous cities.

Local youth Jimmy “B-Rabbit” Smith, Jr. harbors dreams of hitting the big-time as a rapper (along with most of his peers in Detroit), but few are supportive of his efforts, especially his mother Stephanie (Kim Basinger), a self-centered woman who neglects her five-year-old daughter, remains unemployed, and generally wastes her life away. Her verbal battles with Jimmy are the only substantive part of their relationship.

When Jimmy gets a job working on an assembly line at a sheet metal factory, he works long hours in the dead end job making just enough money to get by. Living in a trailer with his mother so that he can save up enough money for a demo tape leads to everyday confrontations with the woman. Things begin to look up, though, when Jimmy meets Alex (Brittany Murphy), an aspiring model who shares his dreams of leaving the ghetto and pursuing a better life. But everything goes awry when Jimmy chokes at a local late-night rap showdown.

The bad news continues when Jimmy catches Alex cheating on him, his mother kicks him out, and a gang of thugs gives him a beating - placing a gun to his head and threatening to pull the trigger.

When the opportunity arises to perform once more in the local rap showdown, all of Jimmy s dreams hinge on his ability to pull out all the stops. Can he verbally destroy his opponent and gain the notoriety necessary to put him on the map?

A surprisingly well-written screenplay wrought with symbolism, 8 Mile vividly portrays the life of an angry urban youth who aches to express his hatred for the world around him. As the dividing line between the city Detroit and the outside world, 8 Mile represents was is and what can be. The film s ability to draw the audience into a world of which they may not be a part makes this a definite must-see film. For those conservative or older viewers who may be reluctant to the see the film because of its leading star Eminem, I highly recommend giving 8 Mile a chance. If you enjoy drama and peering into unique worlds, then you might be pleasantly surprised with this one.

Airplane (DVD) Review

Dimanche 17 février 2008

Winner of an astounding, yet not unprecedented zero Academy Awards, Airplane is arguably one of the funniest movies ever made. Long before The Naked Gun, Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker teamed up to write this outrageous comedy hit which spoofs the airline disaster movies prevalent throughout the 1970 s. Starring a diverse cast with a wide range of experience from Hollywood, Broadway, and the NBA, Airplane follows the exploits of a number of characters such as Ted Striker (Robert Hays), Roger Murdock (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), and Otto The Inflatable Pilot (as himself), all of whom will keep you laughing in the aisles for one hour plus.
When ex-fighter pilot Ted Striker is released from the hospital following the mental strain of his war experience, he decides to seek out and reconnect with the love of his life, Elaine Dickinson (Julie Hagerty), a woman who broke off their relationship due to Striker s various problems (among which is a drinking problem, that is, Striker s inability to pour liquid into his mouth!) Now an airline stewardess, Elaine is emphatic in her assertion that she will never get back together with Ted. Unwilling to take no for an answer, and certain he can prove he s overcome the problems of his past, Ted follows Elaine on her flight.
All goes well until several passengers get sick. Victims of spoiled food, almost everyone on the plane stands on the brink of death as the pilots themselves pass out. One of the few who is not ill, Ted is called upon to land the plane in their absence. But his haunting war memories and fear of flying foreshadow a great disaster. With the help of Elaine, Dr. Rumack (Leslie Nielsen), and Otto The Inflatable Pilot, Ted faces his fears and attempts to bring the plane in for a safe landing. Helping him from the ground are Steven McCrosky (Lloyd Bridges) and Capt. Rex Kramer (Robert Stack), a military man intimately familiar with the abilities of Ted Striker.
Interspersed throughout Airplane are an endless number of one-liners, oddities, wordplay dialogue, and crazy antics. This is one movie you might have to watch several times before you catch every great line, because the humor saturates every scene. You won t find a single dull moment in Airplane. In fact, you might even learn a few disco moves from Ted and Elaine, not to mention Capt. Oveur and his co-pilot Roger!
With a truly impressive cast for a spoof, cult comedy classic (Robert Stack, Lloyd Bridges, and Leslie Nielsen among others), Airplane will forever remain among the hallowed elite of the best comedy films ever produced. Unlike most modern-era comedies, which tend to reflect many of the trends and fads of the day, Airplane seems to gain new altitude with each generation to which it s introduced. Like Johnny Carson, its wit and humor transcends every level of American life, making for an enjoyable and laughable movie watching experience. As a result, Airplane is a no-brainer in the category of must-see films. If you haven t seen it (hard to believe), then I highly recommend renting it immediately.

Lawrence of Arabia (DVD) Review

Dimanche 17 février 2008

Based on the writings of T.E. Lawrence, Lawrence Of Arabia is widely considered one of the greatest films of the twentieth century. All-star director David Lean works with an extremely talented cast that includes Peter O Toole, Alec Guinness, Omar Sharif, and Anthony Quinn. Nominated for ten Academy Awards, and winner of seven including Best Picture, Lawrence Of Arabia is a true film for the ages that no movie buff can afford to miss
British Lt. T.E. Lawrence (Peter O Toole) is a military malcontent stationed in North Africa during World War I. Unexcited in his current assignment of coloring maps, he s thrilled when he learns that he s being reassigned as a British observer to King Feisal (Alec Guinness). Leader of a ragtag band of Arab rebels, King Feisal intends to overthrow the government of the Ottoman Empire (aligned against the British), oppressive rulers who dominate his land. And with the aid of T.E. Lawrence, he might well manage to pull it off
As Lawrence spends more time with his nomad friends from the Arabian peninsula, their cause of self-determination becomes his own. Working together, Lawrence and King Feisal s armies win victories against great odds, successfully sabotage enemy railroad supply lines, and successfully cross a barren desert where the odds of survival were thought to be nil. Along the way, journalist Jackson Bentley (Arthur Kennedy) catalogues Lawrence s exploits for an eager and admiring British public who read anything news related that concerns the exotic Lawrence of Arabia . It s as if the British soldier were King Arthur himself. As King Feisal comes closer to giving birth to a new nation, T.E. Lawrence becomes as famous as any member of the British royal family
Employing a colorful cast of characters, breathtaking cinematography, and exotic Middle-Eastern locations, Lawrence Of Arabia is an epic of monumental proportions. Illustrating one man s fight for freedom alongside noble tribesmen fighting for self-determination against an empire that s ruled their families for hundreds of years, the film is rivaled by few of its peers. Modern in its subject matter, Lawrence Of Arabia pays an amazing resemblance to its contemporaries in its tackling of exotic locales and larger than life enterprises. Films such as Ben-Hur, Cleopatra, Spartacus, and The Ten Commandments set the tone for their era of film making, and Lawrence Of Arabia answered the call.
Sporting an Oscar award-winning musical score and colorful set designs, Lawrence Of Arabia takes its viewers back in time to the era in which these events occurred. Few films have such an influential effect. With a critically acclaimed performance in his role as the title character, Peter O Toole strengthens the film with the mastery of his craft. In short, Lawrence Of Arabia is one of the best films ever produced, and it s a definite must-see movie.

Learn to Play Guitar - Pinch Harmonics and Making your Guitar Scream

Samedi 16 février 2008

In this article I ll explain how to make your guitar squeal with Pinch Harmonics. A lot of guitarists have trouble learning how to do these, but it s really a simple technique.
I m going to touch on all types of harmonics in an effort to explain how Pinch Harmonics work when your playing the guitar.
If your like me you like to add a little expression when playing your guitar, by adding some harmonics and pinch harmonics.
To get this started we re going to go into a little detail about how the guitar strings actually work. Now I m not going to be all technical, as that s not who I am :o)
Basically the guitar string vibrates between the nut and the bridge. If you look closely you can see the string vibrating like a sine wave.
Natural harmonics happen at the spaces along the string where the “wave” stops and starts a new one. (Not technically correct but makes sense to me this way).
This normally happens just above the 5th fret, the 7th fret, and the 12th fret wires. If you take a minute in a well lit room you can see the spots where the vibration along the string actually seems to be stopped. When you lightly touch a ringing string on these points you will get a natural harmonic chime.
Tap harmonics are simply fretting a string and moving the natural harmonic spot up accordingly. For example: If you fret the Low E String at the 3rd fret and pluck the string, your “natural harmonics” would no longer be at the 5th, 7th, and 12th frets. You would Tap the string above the 8th, 10th, and 15th fret wire to sound the harmonic. Hence the name….Tap Harmonic.
Now..to the meat of this…the all powerful Pinch Harmonic!! I say all powerful just because I love the extra expression and sound you can get from them.
To do a Pinch Harmonic you basically “Pinch” the string between your Pick and the side of your thumb that s holding the pick. This is the way I do them and have had excellent luck with this technique.
When you strike the string you let your thumb sound the harmonic you want. It takes a bit of trial and error to find the right areas above the pickups that sound the harmonics you want, but only a little.
The best way to learn the placement is to crank up your distortion (easier to sound them), and on put your fret hand on the Low E or A String on the 5th or 7th fret as if you were playing A note or D note.
Start with your pick in about the middle of the Neck and Bridge pickups and “Pinch” the string so that when your pick sounds it your thumb immediately touches the string. This should sound a Pinch Harmonic. The motion is similar to turning the ignition in a car, just not as drastic…it s a slight “Turn” or “Pinch” on the string.
You may have to move your hand slightly higher or lower on the string to find the “sweet spots”. Keep trying different areas until you get it just right.
Once you ve found the spots that give the sounds you want, make a mental note of where they are. When you move your fret hand higher or lower on the neck…the places you can hit the harmonics will move slightly. This falls in line with the way a Tap Harmonic works, so keep that in mind.
Keep practicing finding the “Sweet Spot” until you can do it each time you try. This part does take a little time and practice.
Just as a note: When you change to a different guitar, be prepared to relearn where the Pinch Harmonics sound. Every guitar I ve played on has them in slightly different places. Differences in neck length, bridge placement, manufacturing tolerances all come into play.
So, that s all there is to it…Keep practicing till you get the feel for it, try adding bends and sound another one, you ll make that guitar scream like a wounded banshee in no time.
If you want to really increase your skill with Pinch harmonics after you get the feel for them, try practicing them with a clean sound. They can still be sounded and your accuracy will increase exponentially!

Filmmaking - Don t Pay Rate Card!

Samedi 16 février 2008

If you want to broadcast across Hollywood that you are an amateur, pay the rental company s published rate card amounts for your production equipment. No professional pays rate card!
I don t even know why they bother to print rate cards, except to give you an idea of the top of the price range, how high not to go in your negotiations.
You can get a deal on anything, but you have to ask. It really is as simple as that. You don t have to know anyone or say a secret password. Just ask.
Let s use dolly rental as an example. Now, you don t just rent a dolly. I mean, you can, but that s all you ll get: the dolly. No tracks, no wheels, no camera mount, no seat just a dolly. You want to rent a dolly package.
When you call to rent your dolly package, plan to shave 20% or so off rate card. Ask if they ll throw in extra days. If you need if for eight days, ask for the weekly rate. (Usually two to four days rental).
Get the dolly first, then start adding in the extras. You need dolly track. Pay for the curved pieces, and ask for the straight ones for free or half price. Go through the entire equipment list that way.
There are two things to keep in mind when you call for a deal:
1) The equipment isn t making any money sitting there unrented. They d rather have it out for half price than not have it out at all.
2) They never rent at rate card. Odds are good the person you re talking to doesn t even know what the rate card prices are.
It s called haggling. They do it with every single person who calls. You aren t asking for anything special.
If you can t get everything at the price you want, tell them you ll have to check and get back to them. If you can call around and compare prices, do it. If you live somewhere where there s really only one place to rent a dolly, be slow getting back to them, anyway.
When you call back, say, Look, I just can t go that high. Can you work with me some more on this?
The person you are talking to wants to help. When she was eight years old, she was not saying, When I grow up, I want to work at a production rental house.
Odds are good that, like you, she is a filmmaker. She feels your pain and will work with you however she can.
If you re working on an extremely limited budget, try this: Tell the person on the phone how much you can spend: Look, I only have $1,200 budgeted for my dolly rental, and I need a jib arm, twelve feet of straight track, six feet of curved track, hard-surface wheels, and a seat, for ten days. What can you do for me?
They ll tell you what they can do for you. You may have to make concessions on your equipment list, but then again, you may be surprised to hear them say, Yeah, we can do that. You have to A-S-K to G-E-T.
Of course, there will be times when you just can t get what you want, no matter how much sweet-talking you do. If there are a lot of shows shooting at the same time, rental houses won t be as willing to let things go out cheap.
You still don t have to pay standard prices, (I m not kidding - no one pays rate card), but you may not get exactly the deal you want.
The Rolling Stones were on to something: you ll get what you need. It s more of a pain in the neck to work with less track, but you can do it. You may have to sacrifice the jib shot, but maybe you can get that hand-held. And maybe you can adjust the schedule so that you need the dolly less than eight days.
This process applies not only to your dolly and your grip and lighting equipment, but your post-production, as well. It s a similar process, shaving percentages and getting extras, when you negotiate for your lab and editing.
The business of Hollywood is dealmaking. It starts when you put pen to paper. It continues through buying scripts, hiring actors and selling your movie. You have to make deals at every step along the way. Start haggling!

South Park (Season 5) DVD Review

Mercredi 13 février 2008

Premiering in the late summer of 1997, South Park took American pop culture by storm with its no-holds-barred examination of social and political issues and its lewd yet unique brand of cartoon humor. Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park is the lynchpin of cable network Comedy Central s original programming lineup. Centered around the lives of several kids in the small Colorado town of South Park (a place prone to odd and paranormal occurrences), the series presents itself in the form of crude animated drawings, yet the concept works, playing home to innumerable well-written shows filled with boundless wit, well-timed one-liners, and an endless array of politically-incorrect humor. Love it or hate it, South Park is a truly original animated series with relentlessly off-the-wall plot twists and comic relief. If you love oddball humor, then this is the show for you

South Park mostly follows the exploits of four elementary school kids - Cartman (who s overweight and sarcastic), Kyle (who dreams of eliminating his little brother Ike), Stan (who throws up at the sight of a girl he likes), and Kenny (who manages to get killed in every episode). All four attend South Park Elementary School where third grade teacher Mr. Garrison educates them with the use of a hand-puppet named “Mr. Hat” and cafeteria employee “Chef” McElroy (Isaac Hayes) dispenses his advice while periodically breaking into 70 s love songs about making love to women. South Park is the setting for numerous oddities such as alien visitors, a monster with a hand of celery and the leg of Patrick Duffy, and Big Gay Al s Big Gay Boat Ride. South Park also hosts a number famous people from time to time, such as the Devil, Saddam Hussein, the Antichrist, Kathy Lee Gifford, Scott Baio, Tina Yothers, Elton John, and Jesus Christ - who has his own cable access show

The South Park (Season 5) DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the season premiere “It His the Fan” in which Kyle gets four tickets to see The Lion King on stage, but he can t find anyone (adult or child) willing to go because everyone in South Park is infatuated with the upcoming television broadcast of the show Cop Drama in which the word shit will be used on TV for the first time ever. When the big event occurs, it ends up changing South Park for the worse Other notable episodes from Season 5 include “Cripple Fight” in which Big Gay Al becomes Kyle, Stan, Cartman, and Kenny s Boy Scout leader, and “Cartmanland” in which Cartman s grandmother dies and leaves him one million dollars which he then uses to purchase his own personal theme park

DVD Online Club - Why I Went With the Best and Cheapest Way to Rent Movies

Lundi 11 février 2008

Out: Driving to the local video store to rent a video.
In: Visiting a DVD online club to rent a video to have it sent to your home effortlessly.
Out: Waiting in long lines at the local video store.
In: Choosing which movies to have sent to you from a website in moments.
Out: Not finding the video you really wanted at the video store, the whole reason you went there. That, and having to find a “good enough” movie.
In: Choose the movie you really want among tens of thousands of choice. The one you want, everytime.
These things describe why I switched to a DVD online club. From my experience, everytime I went to the local video Blockbuster, I never got the movie I really wanted. The new releases were always out for weeks, and you had to practically stalk the store to get one when it came back in. That, and recently I had the urge to watch an old movie, Karate Kid 1 (the original where he learned karate). After going there a couple of times, I found out someone had kept the video out and maybe at some point they d get a new one in as the person decided to keep it apparantly. Ok, so I went to Walmart, but the movie wasn t there. So it comes down to I have to order one in from Amazon.com it seems if I want to watch it. I never quite took to Netflix after my credit card number got stolen years ago and that s what the person did, they ordered videos from Netflix. So, recently I came across this place called Intelliflix and I never went back to Blockbuster again. The old movie was great to see again.
That s why I chose to change to a DVD online club, but everyone has their own reasons. I have compiled together a list of all the great things about switching to a DVD online club since some you don t realize until after you switch, like a bonus:
* No late fees or return dates. While this is true about Blockbuster now (if you don t count the restocking fee) , it is 100% true about these DVD online clubs.
* Great for old movies or unusual, lesser-known movies. This was very true in my case, and I m sure it has been with other people as well.
* The movies you really want are actually there and ready to rent now. Plenty of movies to go around, something you can t get in a little store.
* Delivered to your door. You can t get any easier than this! What you want, delivered right to you in no time.
* Fast, free delivery, usually in 1 day from my experience. Some DVD online clubs get the movies to you faster than others. The biggest DVD online club is not Blockbuster or Netflix. There is one that has many, many more distribution centers, meaning you get the video much faster to your door.
* Free shipping both to your home and also back to the DVD online club. The only fees are the low monthly subscription fees.
* 3-4 videos out a a time. Once you watch a video, pop it back in the mail, and in a couple of days you get your next video choice at your door.
I used to spend way more money in the local video store than I do for my DVD online club monthly subscription. Heck, I spend more driving to work and back on just 3 of the days than I do on my subscription. The difference is, now I actually get to watch what I want, when I want it. Seems simple, but when you re spending your hard-earned money, you should be able to at the least get the movie you really want. Now, I do have to say one DVD online club stands above the rest, both in having a cheaper price, a bigger selection, and much faster shipping, but I won t mention it in this article as I m focusing on the DVD online club market in general and why it s a blessing. You can watch literally any movie you want one after another. I usually have a pile of 3 videos on top of the tv, so I can t even remotely watch them as fast as I can get them. But I do get to see what I want now, not what I m stuck with. Wax on .. wax off!

Music: The Fuel for Plant Souls

Plants and Music

Do your gardenias grooves to Gershwin or your marigolds
melt to Mozart? Perhaps your peonies perk up to Pavarotti
and your roses rock out to the Ramones? There is much
speculation in the scientific community, but many gardeners
swear music will revive wilting plants and urge flowers to
bloom. In 1973, the revolutionary book The Sound of Music
and Plants was written by Dorothy Retallack on scientific
experiments involving plants and music.

Retallack s book was based not on myths but facts. Yes, she
conducted experiments to come to the conclusion that music
has an everlasting affect on plants. Retallack placed
plants of same species in three separate laboratories at
the Colorado Women s College, Denver. She played different
durations of music to each plant and analyzed their growth
pattern. What she observed was that the plant that listened
to music three hours a day grew thrice as large and twice
as strong as the plant that was placed in the music-free
environment.

Dorothy Retallack tried experimenting with different types
of music. She played rock to one group of plants and
soothing music to another. The group that heard rock turned
out to be sickly and small whereas the other group grew
large and healthy. What s more surprising is that the group
of plants listening to the soothing music grew bending
towards the radio just as they bend towards the sunlight.

This experiment was a great eye-opener for plant lovers.
They started playing music to their plants and strongly
recommended others to do the same and also pick the right
type of music for your plants. Remember that slow and
soothing music has a beneficial effect on plants, and loud
and jarring music has a harmful effect on them. Another
point to be considered is the length of time to play music
to the plants. Dorothy Retallack showed through her
experiments that about three hours of music a day is just
right. More than that would damage the growth of your
plants. As a rule, plants have shown the best response to
classical music. That is why plant lovers like to play
Mozart, Bach and Beethoven rather than more boisterous
music.

Although music is not an absolutely proven factor in plant
development, several studies, along with Dorothy
Retallack s groundbreaking series of experiments, have
aided the musical development theory. If you are
interested in exploring this option with your own
garden, consult The Sound of Music and Plants or other
resources to ensure you expose your plants to the optimal
type of music for the appropriate amount of time.
